FORCE

This is the main project page for the FORCE series. Previous installments were created for game jams and located on my profile. Currently, FORCE is an ongoing project. 

FORCE is a 2-4 player arena-style fighting game in which you can only kill your opponents by using the environment to your advantage. There are many ways to die, including by your own hand. Use your character's unique abilities to battle against your friends and determine the ultimate winner. No one is safe, ever! 

Gamemodes / Maps Include:

• Classic - simple arena with spike walls, from the original FORCE games.
• Bladed Fury- Classic + Sawblades
• Spike Ball - Classic + a persistent spikey rock that doesn't get destroyed
• Death Wave - Classic + turrets on the walls that shoot mini spike balls periodically.

Playable Characters Include:

• Bahm - drops bombs which explode after a few seconds and create shrapnel, along with dealing knockback.
• Layzur - deploys a rotating laser which shoves players on contact, disappears after some time.
• Spyk - grows spikes and can attach to other characters to lead them to death.
• Rahk - launches a spikey rock, which bounces off walls (and damages them in the process). It is destroyed when it hits a fully broken wall.
• Boomer - explodes and applies knockback to anyone in range.
• Rang - Throws a boomerang that knocks players around and breaks walls
• Gunnee - shoots fast and deadly rock bullets that break walls

FORCE was rewritten from the ground up after FORCE: Classic 2, with new music and more robust backend systems. While the original code for FORCE: Classic and FORCE: Classic 2 is now lost to time and/or corrupted, the legacy lives on in this iteration of FORCE. However, these older versions could not have existed without several contributors and advisors. Check out those pages for details.
